PSP #212: The Work of Makoto Shinkai - The Place Promised in Our Early Days, 5cm per Second, Children Who Chase Lost Voices, and The Garden of Words / Punch Line / Say, "I love you"
Marc Kusnierz |

In today's episode, a very tired Marc talks about the many works of Makoto Shinkai--including the beautiful short film, The Garden of Words, the very Studio Ghibli-inspired, Children Who Chase Lost Voices, and a very short film about a cat and its owner simply called, She and Her Cat. And after Marc gets that abundance of Shinkai out of their system, they talk about a few series--Punch Line and Say, "I love you"--one of which they just don't get and the other being full of the feels; go ahead and guess which is which; it shouldn't be too difficult.

In today's episode, Marc continues talkin' a whole hell of a lot about anime since he's finally up to date with both Food Wars! and Ore Monogatari, but the anime doesn't stop there; Marc also reviews (without spoilers) what may be the final Studio Ghibli movie, When Marnie Was There--which is absolutely beautiful and must be seen in theaters for those lucky enough to have it playing near them. After all that lovely anime is out of the way, Marc finishes the episode with their final thoughts about Schrödinger's Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark and what may be the end of their relationship with Fairway Solitare!

PSP #210: AniMondays with MY love STORY!!, Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Voices of a Distant Star, and Say "I love you" / The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt / Rogue Legacy
Marc Kusnierz |
Monday, June 1, 2015 at 5:43PM
In today's anime-rific episode, Marc talks a wee bit more about the absolutely delightful MY love STORY!! (Ore Monogatari), then follows that up with a little chatter about the crazy ecchi, Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, and the somber OVA, Voices of a Distant Star, before ending with the not-so-delightful--in other words, not happy, but still good and full of the feels--Say "I love you." And once Marc gets all that anime out of his system, he touches on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Rogue Legacy--which finally found its way to the Xbox One.

PSP #209: Mad Max: Fury Road / Plastic Memories / MY love STORY!!
Marc Kusnierz |
Friday, May 29, 2015 at 2:00PM
In today's episode, Marc reviews Mad Max: Fury Road--the highs, the lows, the fury roads...--and talks about where it falls, rank-wise, in the Mad Max franchise. After that, Marc talks about Plastic Memories some more after catching up with the show and follows that up with a little chit-chat about the delightful little romantic comedy that is MY love STORY!!. And, in case any of y'all are wondering, full spoilers ahead.

PSP #208: AniMondays with Plastic Memories and The World God Only Knows / Let's Talk Art
Marc Kusnierz |
Monday, May 25, 2015 at 5:20PM
In today's episode, Marc talks all about the first season of The World God Only Knows--the highs and extremely rare lows--and why it's quickly become one of his favorite anime series (much to his surprise), then touches on the first episode of another anime by the name of Plastic Memories--which only took him forever to watch--before ending with a little discussion about art and the way art is interpreted on a general level.

PSP #207: The Flash Season Finale / The World God Only Knows
Marc Kusnierz |
Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 4:55PM
In today's episode, Marc talks all about the first season of The Flash--including the season finale--and why he thinks it might just be the best live-action comic book series to date; he also gets a bit choked up talkin' about a specific aspect of the show--which hits him so hard that he completely forgets to touch on certain, huge moments from the season finale! After taking more than a flash to talk about The Flash, Marc speeds things up and talks a bit more about The World God Only Knows and a game no one should play (hint: it stars a cat and not even that can stop it from being pretty bad). Cheers and I hope y'all enjoy the show!

PSP #206: AniMondays / Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Marc Kusnierz |
Monday, May 18, 2015 at 7:49PM
In today's episode, Marc starts the show with a terrible anime-fueled joke (see title) and drags the podcast deeper and deeper into a hole of unprepared nonsense just to satisfy that one, terrible joke. In other words, they talk about the complete anime series, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, covering it from top to bottom, beginning to end, with spoilers sprinkled throughout--there's a warning in the show--and a cherry on top. (Spoilers: there is no actual cherry anywhere near this or any episode of The Pixelated Sausage Podcast.) Is Madoka Magica worth checking out? I guess y'all just have to give it a listen, eh! Cheers and I hope y'all enjoy the show!

PSP #205: Tsuritama / Rugby 15 / And More
Marc Kusnierz |
Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 3:30PM
In today's episode, Marc dives deep into the silly, charming, weird, goofy, playful, what-the-duck, fishing-themed-with-aliens anime, Tsuritama, trying to avoid being lured in by diving really deep, like, really, really deep into the world of Tsuritama. If you could follow that last sentence, congratulations, you are crazy (like me), and maybe that means you, too, will enjoy Tsuritama--which is an odd little duck (har-har) of an anime and great for anyone looking for something a bit more light and colorful; though, it doesn't shy away from occasional seriousness, sometimes oddly-placed, and doesn't require any love of fishing (at all) to enjoy its abundance of fishing. Marc also talks briefly about Rugby 15...it sucks. Cheers and I hope y'all enjoy the show!
