iPhone: USFlagTrophy Review

Yay for more flags! Sorry, but how can I be witty when talking about flags?

USFlagTrophy is the same game as FlagTrophy; it’s just confined to the fifty American states, as opposed to the entire world. Like FlagTrophy, USFlagTrophy is another good tool for learning flags and having fun at the same time, but its lack of variety hurts replayability.
A huge advantage of FlagTrophy is that it has an entire world of flags to work with; USFlagTrophy is stuck with just one country. It’s still a good game for anyone who needs/wants to learn the flags of every state, but it will get boring fast. Being asked which flag belongs to the state of Oklahoma three times in a row is not fun.
USFlagTrophy is perfect for people wishing to learn something new; I learned that many states have very similar flags. If you’re looking for a game you can play over and over again, this is not the game for you; it’s hard to have consistent variety when you’re stuck with the same fifty flags. Another fun fact about state flags: some feature the state name, making them extremely easy to identify.
